Must visit places at Andaman




Andaman island has for you some of the most spectacular destinations in the world. The beauty of Andaman constitutes of beautiful and idyllic scenes of the mother nature along with Eco-friendly white sand beaches. Other features like the turquoise blue ocean water, the flora, the fauna, the deep mysterious forest along with the cellular jail and the living volcano is a treat to the eyes.

    Havelock Island
One of the largest island comprising of some of the beaches in the world that are still unspoiled and are exquisite. Andaman also has to its credit the strikingly evergreen and dense forest. One part of the island is inhabited by the aborigines or the tribal who are considered to be the part from which the first African population generated. The pristine environmental bliss and the transparent and clean water would fill you with unearthly bliss.


    Barren Island-The second to the list of must visit places is the barren island. This island is located 135 km away from the capital city of Andaman island, which is Port Blair. As you can guess from the name, this island is not inhabited by human beings. The living being that reside in the island are the animals and insects which can survive in the harsh condition that the environment pose for them. Barren island has to its credit the only lone active volcano in the whole of South Asia. The last eruption from this volcano occurred in 2010 and continued till January 2011.


    Radhanagar Beach- This is one of the most beautiful beach that you will witness during your visit to the Andaman island. Know for being one of the most important beach in Andaman, it has restored its peaceful, serene and rustic charm. You can simply take a stroll around the beach, watch birds and indulge in activities like swimming and fishing. There are many beaches at Radhanagar which have been named as beach no 1, beach no 5, beach no 7 and so on.





    Vijaynagar Beach- The vijaynagar beach is known as beach no 5 and belongs to the Havelock island and is capable of providing a tranquilizing effect to its visitor. The crystal clear water without any waves is idle for swimming and provides a glimpse of the marine life. Some of the adventure sports like Scuba diving and Snorkeling are also available at this beach, along with the availability of some excellent seafood.


    Corbyn's Cove Beach – This beach is located 4 km away from the capital city of Port Blair and is well known for the breathtaking view of sunrise and sunset that it provides to its visitors. With the tall coconut trees along the beach and the cool shades to relax, Corbyn's cove beach would be one of the destination in Andaman that you would love to visit again and again. This beach also has the facility of water sports like scuba diving.


    Elephant Beach- Elephant beach is located within the Radhanagar beach and is know by beach no 7. This tourist destination has the facility of taking a safari through the tall tress of the forest and engage in some kind of water sports. There are motor launch available for taking a cruise along the ocean and get mesmerized by the outstanding beauty of the place.


    Baratang Island- If you wish to have some rare experience, you must visit the Baratang island. The island is covered with dense and mysterious tropical forest along with the stretch of white sandy beach. The most popular attraction of the island are the mud volcano and the limestone caves. The mangrove ecosystem is an excellent source of attraction for the birds watchers. One more place of attraction is the parrot island, where you can see thousands of parrot at sunset.



    Red skin Island- This island would provide you with the glance of the beautiful flora of evergreen forest along with the sun kissed sea beaches. It will provide you with the view of some boat surfing, ocean cruises and proximity along with the pristine natural environment.
